Redecoration Time Again
So as is traditional for seaside resort hotels The Royal Bridlington is commencing their annual bout of redecoration.
This year we are pleased to be able to complete the whole of the hotel. The final piece of the jigsaw is the Refurbishment of the halls, stairs and landings. We are pleased to be able to employ a local decorator, Robert, to do the work for us.
So far progress on the redecoration is slow. But the carpets are up and new carpets ordered. The Carpets are British Made by Wilton.
Wallpaper has started to come down. Wallpaper has already been purchased and is here. This was purchased from a great local company Home Decor in Hull. They have a magnificent range of wallpapers. Well worth a visit when considering refurb.
In terms of other items required for our redecoration and refurb we are as usual using Crown Decorating Services in Bessingby. Another local business with great service.
So, I will try and keep everyone up to date with progress on our redecoration.
Unfortunately, we have taken the decision to remove some plaster busts which we have lived with for 11 years. Time for a change and a more modern look. That said, as the building dates back to 1907, does a real modern appearance suit?
